This year, members of the TreeTop Commons team share what they are most thankful for. From our family to yours, have a wonderful holiday season!

My faith in my creator, my children, my family, my friends. I am thankful for clean water, consistently good food, doctors who care for me when I am ill, police and a military who are funded to protect me, and for the right to speak my mind, to vote my conscience, and to live in a country that so many were willing for so long, to have paid a price so dear, that I can be free to choose my own destiny.
— Scott Fore - Managing Partner
I am extremely thankful for what 2015 has brought to me! I’ve had the greatest year meeting new people and going on adventures, as well as catching up with my old friends and family. This year was filled with love, progress and connection, which I am so happy to say has made my best year yet!

This holiday season, I am very thankful to be surrounded by so many family and friends. It will be the first Thanksgiving that my wife’s family will all be in one place since before my daughter was born and it will be the first Thanksgiving that I celebrate in the first house I’ve ever owned.
With a new job here at TreeTop Commons with a wonderful team, I’m heading into the holidays in a better place than I have been in some time.
— Judah McAuley - Sr. Software Engineer
I am thankful for my family and loved ones. In the end, that’s all we have. My parents did well to raise my brother and I. Moreover, my brother will always be my best friend. As close friends are hard to come by, whether new or old, it’s important to cherish them. Last but not least, I’m thankful for people who are brave enough to speak the truth, no matter the consequence.
— Danny Preslar - Creative Director
Every day I am thankful for my beautiful, energetic three year old daughter. I am grateful for the unconditional love from friends and family; it’s a blessing to live in fellowship with such an amazing community. I appreciate the struggles and the triumphs each new year brings. Happy Thanksgiving!
— Karly Willis - Director of Operations
My family fills me with gratitude and thanks every day. Always grateful for the family I was born into and the love and life they gave, I’ve woken up each morning and fallen asleep each evening for the past twenty years (or so) thankful for my two beautiful, funny, smart, generous daughters and my husband, who’s a partner through it all. There is so much to be grateful for (octopuses, sunsets, sunlight through rain, soccer, and laughing with coworkers come to mind), but my family makes me feel at home in the world and gives me energy, humor, and love to share back out.
— Jenny Walsh - Director Product Development
I’m thankful to my kids for their unconditional love for me and their enduring spirit as they daily face new challenges and growth opportunities, teaching me optimism and mindfulness through their kindness, intuitiveness, and energy. I’m thankful to my coworkers for their ongoing patience, dedication, hard work, creativity, and passion for what we do.
— John Robinson - Chief Technology Officer
I am especially grateful for my mentors, who have continually encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone, strive for excellence, and become a better person. I stand on the shoulders of giants whose generosity and wisdom have had a profound impact on me, both personally and professionally. Their friendship is something I will always cherish. As the saying goes, ‘Here’s to strong women may we know them, and may we be them’

Positive living.
— April Barrett - Web Developer
This year, I’m especially thankful for everyone working to ensure love and positivity prevail in communities across the globe. I’m also incredibly thankful for the health of my own family and friends who inspire me to be the best version of myself. Oh! and finally, I’m thankful for dogs, polar bears, and pizza, as they contribute to my happiness on a (nearly) daily basis.
— Keara Ziegerer - Director of Customer Success
I am most thankful to have my wonderful boys in my life. They make me smile, and laugh everyday. I am also thankful to be living in a beautiful city where everyone works together for the betterment of the community. And this year in particular, I am thankful to be working for an incredible company, with amazing co-workers doing great work. I feel truly blessed.
